Men in Trees Patrick & Annie wedding spoilers

Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Suffering from Men in Trees withdrawl after the hiatus was extended to May when fans were expecting new episodes in April? Well, Ausiello has come to the rescue with a ton of spoilers courtesy of the Men in Trees producers.

“A series of ill-fated events and a streak of bad luck that threatens to ruin Patrick and Annie’s wedding comes as no surprise to Mai, who predicted Patrick and Annie’s union would be doomed after discovering the pair have incompatible astrological charts. Things eventually reach a boiling point, which leaves everyone, especially Annie, wondering if Mai’s prophecy is true. Cash (Scott Elrod) comes back to Elmo (at a pivotal moment) and, though Marin is glad to see him, she can’t help but wonder what the real reason for his unexpected return is. Pastor Eric (Nicholas Lea) faces the possibility of losing his ministry when members of his congregation question the nature of his relationship with Sara. Jane flies in for Patrick and Annie’s nuptials and is reunited with both Annie’s fresh-out-of-rehab brother, Danny (Josh Randall), and her former flame, Sam aka Plow Guy (Ty Olsson).”

So what do you think? Will the wedding go through? And will anyone be able to not envision the X-Files Alex Krycek when they see Nicholas Lea as the Pastor?

Men in Trees not returning until May

Friday, March 30th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Men in Trees was supposed to return on April 12th, but now it won’t be making it’s return to ABC until sometime in May. ABC has made the decision to give the 10pm Thursday Men in Trees timeslot to Notes from the Underbelly. Why? Because expanded American Idol results show would mean that the new ABC show would run head-to-head with the popular reality show, and we know how well that works for the competition!

There is always the possibility that it will return earlier in yet another time slot, but right now, it is looking like it will be its usual time slot but not until May.

Sigh.

Men in Trees romance when Anne Heche leaves hubby for co-star

It worked for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Now Men in Trees has a real-life romance that has resulted in star Anne Heche leaving her husband for her co-star James Tupper. If course, no one is confirming publicly about the romance, but they aren’t being very discrete about it either.

Sources tell People magazine the reason for the breakup was Heche’s budding relationship with her “Men in Trees” co-star James Tupper, who split from his wife late last year.

Although representatives for Heche and Tupper have not publicly commented on their romance, the couple were spotted getting cozy on a January 13 flight from Vancouver, Canada, to Los Angeles.

According to an eyewitness Heche spent part of the flight on Tupper’s lap, whispering and cuddling. The source adds, “They looked like high school kids in love.

Anne Heche’s husband of five years, Coley Laffoon, filed for divorce in Los Angeles. He is seeking joint custody of their four year old son Homer (am I the only one who thinks that name for a child sucks?) and - you guessed it - spousal support.

Orlando Jones is the Men in Trees new gay character

Monday, December 11th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

We told you yesterday about Men in Trees jumping on the gay bandwagon by adding a new gay character. Well now TV Guide has revealed that Orlando Jones is the one tapped to play the new character for at least two episodes airing in 2007.

My mole in Elmo, Alaska, just gave me the OK to solve last Friday’s Men in Trees asterisk quiz. As some of you correctly guessed, producers have successfully wooed Orlando Jones (aka ***a*** ***e*) to play George, Buzz’s (John Amos) gay son. Slated to appear in at least two episodes, George will pay Pops a visit in Elmo in early ‘07.

I wonder if he could end up being a recurring character if he meshes well with the cast and his character becomes a hit.

Men in Trees gets a new gay character

Men in Trees is following the whole gay men trend on television these days to introduce their own gay character on the series. Kristen from E! says “They are adding a gay character to the cast, and he happens to be Patrick’s half-brother. Buzz’s other son will visit Elmo in the next month or so, and he’ll have a recurring role.”

Wonder if there is any chance they could get Jason Lewis to play a gay character on Men in Trees too ;)
